TWT’s Managed IT solution set the KAYAK team up for success.
When KAYAK was moving to a new space (doubling the footprint), it was the perfect opportunity for owner Randy to look at all the existing networking technology and processes that were in place and make some changes to help support KAYAK’s growth plan.
Having worked with TWT in the past (TWT was a KAYAK client), Randy knew that TWT could advise him on making the appropriate upgrades.
TWT’s Managed IT Solution:
There were some IT priorities for KAYAK’s new space. Randy wanted a technology upgrade that would improve his team’s communications abilities, network security, and to stop being his own IT guy.
TWT recommended changing to a Cisco Meraki cloud managed IT solution. This allowed Randy’s team to upgrade their phone system to VOIP (which allowed for better communication with team members in diverse locations) as well as improving both their wireless network and security. At the same time, Shawn suggested a switch to GSuite for email, backups and file management which gave KAYAK unlimited storage, remote email access and integration with HubSpots suite of tools.
Since becoming a TWT Managed IT client, KAYAK has added a remote employee in Ontario to the team. Business is experiencing steady growth and Randy is able to focus his time on building business instead of doing his own IT.
